Tonight was the movie screening and awards show for the Land of Lincoln Credit Union's movie contest, in Decatur. My movie, The Yellow Car, was selected as a finalist. My parents came for the occasion, as did my sister, her friend Dave, JDI and K8Day.
ShareThe screening took place in a big theater at the Decatur Civic Center. They had a red carpet and everything. It was VERY well done, and I was impressed with their commitment to making it focused on movies rather than being a huge promotional event (which it also certainly was).
Sorry I don't have any better photos from the event, but I'm sure my dad does, and if not, possibly K8Day or Sally. Anyway, this is my "cheering section."
I'm not happy about losing but I'm ok with losing to you. :)

What size is your video? I might be able to talk to "the powers that be" to let your video slide by the limit restriction if it's at all close. But it'll take forever for you to upload, which is one reason we have that restriction in place (to encourage people to export at a smaller size to prevent hours-long uploads). Glad to see that you signed up for an account!
I love seeing MY SISTER in the above photo!!! Would love to have been there sitting next to her to see you get this wonderful award!!! Way to go!
