We had breakfast for dinner tonight. This is Ethan's plate. For some reason, having his plate photographed was very traumatic for him. He cried in horror as I snapped a photo of his tasty dinner. Later he told me that taking the plate's photo "hurt the plate." I tried to reason with him, but that didn't go so well.

2) Maybe he's developing the beliefs of Native Americans. Your photograph has stolen Mr. Breakfast's soul.

"GOOD MORNING MR. BREAKFAST!
WOULD YOU LIKE SOME MR. T CEREAL??!?!"

3) Denny is probably in heaven looking at this picture. He loves breakfast for dinner. Did Ethan really have a green pepper with his meal or did you add that just for the photo?

4) Did you use flash? That would have over cooked the food for sure.

7) I also heard this morning that two kids in Bloomington are celebrating Pi Day by going door to door asking people if they "know about Pi" and then throwing a PIE in their face and running away.

8) Are those biscuits for eyes?

It doesn't look like you add milk to your eggs before you scramble them...

It's also National Potato Chip Day but that doesn't sound as exciting to throw chips in people's faces. Wait, on second thought, it does.

10) Breakfast is the forgotten meal, the one we skip usually in order to get our day started. Its not only the most important one but the one with some of the best food ever. I love breakfast for dinner!

11) There's milk in those eggs, Carrie. Then I cooked them in the same skillet I had cooked the bacon in. You don't want to waste that good flavor. Do not question the ways of the breakfast lady.

And yes he did eat a green pepper with his meal. Dave and I had omelettes, but the kids prefer scrambled eggs, so I tossed an extra green pepper on Ethan's plate.

12) LOL Courtney! It must have been the prior use of the pan. Please don't take offense! Paula Dean once suggested using plain yogurt instead of milk to make them more firm. I've tried it; it's not bad, it's just that I always have milk on hand and I don't think Blues Clues yogurt would taste so good.

13) Carrie, have you ever tried making scrambled eggs w/out milk or water? That's the way I always make them and I think they're pretty yummy.

14) Paula Dean starts every recipe with a stick of butter. That's my kind of woman right there now!!

15) Yep, sometimes I don't use anything but eggs.

16) I think I've tried them w/o milk when i was completely out. I'm sure I enjoyed them but was so paranoid that I didn't have milk that it may have affected my taste buds.

Denny,
Butter, cheese, ranch dressing. Bliss.
