New Video Camera Test
I just acquired a new video camera for work, so I can shift from web stuff to video stuff (although I'll still do web and graphics like I do now to some extent). I brought the camera home to experiment with the settings and what not, and here's some of that footage.

6) Nice work Dave! The depth of field on the footy really makes it look like Hollywood. You have arrived dude. I think you should reshoot The Yellow Car in its entirety.

Um, can Humzoo haz a camera like that someday? Tanks.

8) Thanks guys. It's a great camera for sure. It has several frame rate modes that let you simulate over/under cranking like film cameras are capable of, which is one of the things I really wanted to test out.

Will, the song is by Nick Drake (stolen shamelessly from my iTunes library, and the lyrics are here:

I edited the song in places to make it fit, and I cut out some of the lyrics I believe. But it's mostly there.

12) Great googily mooglily....that bad boy is almost 13 dollars over my budget for a new camcorder. What....could you not talk Dr. Milton into The Red One?
Well, you have no excuse now not to become the next Fellini. No pressure.

14) Hey Dave - Rich here (old friend of Denny's). This looks fantastic! I'm looking to get the new Sony HDV FX-1000 but now I may need to research a bit more!
