Thanksgiving Weekend 2008It has been awhile since I posted a normal "kids" video, so here are Ethan and Mia in all their Thanksgiving glory.
This video started out as a short project and ended up taking about an entire day to edit. I created a neat hand-drawn intro that was a stop-motion illustration pattern thingie, but all the photos got corrupt somehow and could not be retrieved. I wasn't about to do it all over again, so I made a new intro which I think is better anyway. I put some brown paper up on the wall (just so it wouldn't be boring white), set up some lights and let the kids go to town.
I tried some new editing techniques, but I think they are subtle. I have a small comfort zone when it comes to editing, and when I try new things, they're usually not very different from my normal style. I'm making a conscious effort to shoot and edit better, so hopefully some of that comes across.

I agree with Linda; I think TB would pay dang good money at least for the marketing idea...and more for this particular clip!!

Did you tell Ethan not to step on the cracks when he was running on the path?
and was there something squishy in the leaf-pile at the beginning?? it looked really soft.
