Student Film Club - Steve and DaveSince Steve and I formed the Student Film Club, we have met once and have had to cancel two meetings due to bad weather. With it being the holidays, we expect a small turnout over the next meeting or two as well. We wanted to basically make a little video that says: "We know it got off to a slow start, but as soon as weather cooperates and kids get back from vacation, it's going to get a lot better." So this is that video.

9) If you think about it, the inclusion of the fan was a hysterical slice of wit from you guys.BrianWednesday, December 24, 2008
10) Great stuff Dave. I'll be out of town for the next meeting (nertz) but hopefully I'll be able to make it to the next one. Merry Christmas, dude!Ninster23Wednesday, December 24, 2008
11) Brian - the fan was a contribution of Limey George. He was looking at the storyboard and figured carrying folders was too boring, so he switched that out with a fan. I really love it, and I think the best part is that the fan has absolutely no significance or purpose.
Nino - Glad you enjoyed the movie. You might be somewhat interested to hear that almost all the ambient sounds and noises came from GarageBand. Apparently they have a ton of pre-recorded effects similar to what we made for See You Next Fall, but you know, they sound better and require less work. I don't like cutting corners or taking unnecessary shortcuts, but this was a welcomed discovery, as you know how tedious that process can be. The timeline still looked like a mess though (with layers upon layers of soundtracks).Dave HeinzelWednesday, December 24, 2008
12) Can I join the student film club? I have the same pen btw :)JustinWednesday, December 24, 2008
13) Justin, in all seriousness, we would love to have you stop by. The kids would love to see some of your work, even if it's still photos in a slideshow or whatever. Not sure if you have anything like that put together, but if not, get on it dude! We meet Tuesdays from 7-9. If you think you could come to either of the next two meetings, let me know.Dave HeinzelWednesday, December 24, 2008

16) How exactly does one sleep after drinking Mt. Dew? Oh yeah, funny clip!AngiWednesday, December 24, 2008
17) Dave, not only that, but how would you need a fan anywhere on an icy day? I mean, I know they crank up those industrial heaters in the schools, but still man... budget cutbacks means no one gets to set it above 70, and ain't nobody gonna be getting toasty in that buildin'
Like I said, witty.BrianWednesday, December 24, 2008
18) I get it, Brian. (And that's pretty good for being elderly)!Wednesday, December 24, 2008
