When we come to the beach we always get fresh local seafood and grill it out. Last night after Niki's family arrived we grilled Hogfish. This was our first time and it was awesome.

Hogfish is a lot like lobster. Actually it eats mostly lobster and crab (quite the taste it has) so it's a sweet fish. Slather it in butter and you've got a meal.

1) Never heard of hogfish either. I'm not sure I'd like it as much as the other one you mentioned. I've never liked "sweet" fish like lobster. Light, yes; but not sweet. Maybe if you grilled it. :) Looks good.

4) Hogfish (Lachnolaimus maximus), also known as Capitaine, are plentiful in the Florida Keys on many coral reefs and are considered to have high quality, soft and tasty flesh. The fish is a large wrasse of the western Atlantic. It has fourteen dorsal spines, eleven dorsal soft rays, eleven anal spines, and ten anal soft rays. The coloring varies but is usually brownish red with a black spot at the bottom of the dorsal fin. Their habitats are often over coral reef areas. The fishs' diet is mainly mollusks, crabs, and sea urchins. The Mexican hogfish is often a pinkish color with a fleshy bump on the males for head. The Hogfish is first a female then a male. The color pattern changes drastically between juvenile and adult. The head of the male resembles a pig's snout. --Wikipedia.org

I'd never heard of this fish before either, and I worked in a wholesale fish/seafood operation for five years! Looks interesting...
