Today during work I kept my twiddling fingers busy by twisting together a little man made of solder. I'm tossing around some ideas for a new animation video and one involves a little dude. Made of what I don't know yet.

I learned today that solder isn't going to work. It's way to flimsy and is really hard to keep balanced. Animating objects is much easier when you can manipulate the object without actually picking it up off the surface.

Regardless, we still invited Solder Man to dinner tonight. He hung out for a bit before he abruptly had to go.

1) Little dude should be made out of cheese. Just a suggestion...

4) Whatever is cheap, Denny. I don't know about you but I'm not made of money! Maybe a nice sharp cheddar would do the trick.

7) Cause I would have already eaten him. Making animation characters out of things I like to eat probably isn't a good idea. I can see my blurb about that now "I was working on an animation today and 7 hours into the shoot I ended up eating the cake man. The end.".

8) Ah. good point, Denny. I hadn't thought of that. Maybe you could make him out of fruitcake. LOL which is better on many levels. Humzooers are sweet and nutty and stick together.... and he would still be cake but maybe you'd be less inclined to eat him. And there could be cherries for eyes. ;)

9) Good idea, I hate fruit cake. Fruitcake Man.. hmm... how does that sound for a blockbuster, Academy winner?
