Soup of the Day
Dave Heinzel, Allison Martsch, John and Willie Asher, Steve Minch and myself entered a 24-hour film contest in St. Louis. The contest is based on a provided theme and special element that is received when the contest begins. You must create a story, film it, edit it, put it on a DVD and get it to St. Louis within a 24 hour period. Our theme was "diet" and the special element was a thermometer. Here's what we came up with! We're super proud and super exhausted.

We actually were still exporting the video in the parking lot 4 minutes before the deadline. It was a bit intense but a lot of fun! I want to do another one soon!

I thought you might enjoy it, he is a director that we used for some commercials a few years ago, totally cool guy. He wrote the script, shot & prodcued that little video & I thought it was cute.

Enjoy your sleep!

21) Denny and Company, It is more than I could create in video as my medium of expression. I enjoyed that the experienced man chose to ingest "new" and he went from "sick" to "healthy". He broke free from his bondage of routine. I am left ponderring. Could he not create his own "new" instead of having to buy it? Marketting's deception is that we can purchase happyness. Have the man toil to grow a garden. You deserve rest after your work. Best of luck in the contest. Sincerely, Stephen Pawlowski.

26) Great Video Denny... Thats awesome!! Did yall all come up with the storyline together or was it a long term idea for one of yall??

27) With a 24-hour contest you can't come up with much beforehand. Once the theme (diet) and special element (thermometer) were announced at 10pm on Friday we started brainstorming. We came up with a number of ideas before getting to this one. Dave came up with the seed idea of a man who eats the same thing everyday and as a team we evolved the story from there.
