Monday morning
Hi, everybody,

I don't mean to leave you in suspense, but with Mom's ongoing illness it has been really up-and-down; I'm having a hard time posting. I am not planning to post any more right now. Again, we really appreciate all your thoughts and prayers!

7) I just want to thank each and every one of you who is in Winston-Salem for so graciously, warmly, generously including me in the circle of love (and information) that you have assembled around Sandra. It is a privilege beyond words to feel a part of such a wonderful, supportive family. Sandra is as fortunate to have you as you are to know such a gentle and loving soul as she is. Thank you doesn't begin to express the gratitude I feel.

8) Rosemary- thanks for being here with us. Thanks also to Dannie for coming.

We appreciate your continued love and support. Today was a decent day, all things considered. This will be more of a marathon, than a sprint, though.

11) Dannie, we heard from Roger last night that they have moved her out of intensive care - after almost six weeks there!! - and into an intermediate care unit. She is beginning to eat and talk again and is off the ventilator!!!! Doesn't get any better than that!!!!!! (unless she would get to go home!!!) She is making a remarkable recovery. It's the best Christmas gift ever!!!
