Saturday evening update
It's been and up-and-down day. We had a glimpse of improvement this morning, but some setbacks during the day. We are continuing to wait and hope for the best.

1) Prayers are still being sent up from Eastern NC, my wife has just left for church and I asked her to put your mothers name on the list.

4) The portion of Johnston County wjere the tornadoes hit last week is getting help from many local civic groups. We were lucky because it skipped us; however, I talked to a lady that lives in the area and I asked her how the tornadoes missed her and she sais:"About 2 feet". She commented about how strange the scenery was it had passed. Her family operates a major farming operation and she said all of the crops were out of the field.

We are still praying all of the Pike family and their extended family during a time like this. Maybe all of the Illini relatives can have some good Southern Cooking while they are here.
