music and the boardwalk, but not together
Two things. Music. Isaiah and I got a night out last Saturday. We went to see Matt the Electrician. Matt is a friend from high school, who now live in Austin. He used to actually be an electrician, but he finally left that some years ago and is actually making it as a musician. As a plug, he's play in Corvallis, OR on Aug 1 and Portland on Aug 3. Then he's back in Texas until the Flat Rock Music Festival in Flat Rock, NC in late September. If you're interested, you can hear some of his music on iTunes. You can hear more, and see when/where his shows are, on his web site. I would definitely recommend it!

Boardwalk. We went today as a family. It's not often that Isaiah has the time to go midweek. I think it was a bit "hot" for Jonas. I put that in quotes because the high was maybe 74. Plus, he is just not into riding many rides yet. They are all too scary. But he does love the arcade. Gareth, on the other hand, LOVES the boardwalk. He tried a couple of new rides today, and loved every one. He is definitely a bit of a thrill seeker. Funny, because he is so timid to try new things. He is very slow to it. But once he's decided he's ready, he definitely goes for it. Here are few photos, but the rest are here: http://www.humzoo.com/girlcarew/photos/30/1/

1) Love the cone picture!
2) Now that's the right way to eat a cone! :)
3) You are so lucky to have that Boardwalk so close. Your kids will have great memories of all that fun. Skeeball rocks...best arcade game EVER!
4) LOL... They do love skeeball. Although Jonas can only get as far as the first 0. But he loves to try.
