art

Jonas came home today with a few art things. He comes with quite a few quite often. So I thought I'd show a couple. The first one he said was not a picture of anything in particularl, just things.

The second one he said was a picture of a fish swimming by an octopus and both were on their way home. But he said he forgot to paint their homes, so we'd do that at home.

These next two are two paint-by-numbers -- one that Jonas did and one that Gareth did. They love to paint, and they like paint by number. Here's Jonas'. I did help with a little of the finer details, but he did the vast majority of it himself.

And here's Gareth's. He did it all himself. It's a dolphin in the ocean with a tropical isle in the background.

1) Those are great! I love the story behind the octopus and fish painting. I'll have to try some paint by numbers with the kids--never thought to do that.

3) I didn't know they had paint-by-number for younger children. The dolphin is awesome. I like the story of the octopus and fish too--very creative.

5) Very impressive! The dolphin painting is fantastic. That one needs to be framed.
