tidbits

Tonight Jonas was undressing himself for bath. Rather than pull his shirt off over his head, he prefers to stick his arms up through the neck hole and pull it down. He got his arms out and had it hanging around his chest. He said, "Look. It a dress," with a big smile. He then pulled it a little farther down to his waist. "Now it a hula skirt." I love that it wasn't just a skirt, but a hula skirt.

Later, he ended up being about half an hour late to bed. After bath we went in the playroom for playtime before bed. I wanted something mellow, so I suggested some coloring (with Color Wonder). We colored at least five pages. And by the time he was tired of it, I looked at the clock. I was surprised to see how much time had passed. I know that coloring is definitely therapeutic, but it's even more enjoyable coloring with a little man like the J.

1) Those special moments make up for all the challenges, don't they? He sounds like an adorable little man.
