How 'bout dem apples?

Well, I tell ya, "dem apples" better be darn good. I am losing my husband this week because of dem apples. Dem apples are, of course, the ones that sport this logo



And this week is the World Wide Developer's Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco. Earlier today I dropped my husband off at the BART station so he could catch a train in. I will see him again on Friday.
And while he networks and geeks and parties, I will tend to a sick 3yo and hope that Gareth doesn't get sick. And this is Gareth's last 2.5 days of the regular school year.
But for all my whinig I know it's good for Isaiah to go. And I know that I'll get some time at the spa in return sometime soon.

1) Your husband is so lucky! I have been wanting to go to WWDC for years. I always follow along on Gizmodo or Mac Rumors. Can't wait til tomorrows keynote to find out what the sweet new Apple goods are this summer.

2) I think he knows how lucky he is. He is heaven at being able to go. And since it's not for his traditional day job, it's all the more sweet. I hope you get to go some day too. I'm much less of a geek these days than I used to be, but I can understand your desire to go pretty well.

3) I noticed that little spa comment!

But, yeah, I'm lucky. Talked to some of the Gizmodo and Ars guys this evening, in fact. This is work? Pinch me.

I do suspect I'll pay for this with a few extra "boys nights" in the near future. ;-)
