Humzoo feature requests.
I know Dave & Denny (the two dude party) are busy working on new features like the quietly mentioned 'video' section, but I demand more, dammit. J/K dudes, but seriously quit your jobs and get some VC funds and Angel investors.
I have no idea how you do that I just know those terms are thrown around all the time when some web company goes big.
Ohh, and soon as Mrs. Shoo and I pay off our Car Title loans, we'll totally upgrade to Humdinger accounts.
1. Draft editing on blog posts. - Some times I gotta hit the Save button before I realize that my grammar is worse than a 3rd grade level. I like to at least bump it up to 5th grade. Even some sweet ajax javascript to autosave posts would be cool. I kinda know how to do that - so hit me up if you need assistance.
2. Batch publishing on photos - Dave tells me you've guys have talked about this but there was a differing opinion on how to implement it. Do it - is how you implement it.
3. RSS feeds on the community section - I'd love to be able to refresh the browser every 5 minutes, but sometimes I actually have to work... at work.
4. The automatically win the photo contest if you make one of the two dudes party's children cupcakes. Enough said.
5. Tag clouds on a site front page. Ex: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tag_cloud

Cancel the car title loans, I will name your cars for free dude. Its amazing all the ways people try to make money these days.
Really good suggestions. We actually have a suggestion box (aka spreadsheet) that we store all member feedback and suggestions in. That is actually Dave's primary role at Humzoo, he is the Suggestion Collector. We like to take everything into consideration and keep track when requests are made. That doesn't mean we always have time to build it or that it will ever become a feature but its gets logged anyway.
We've talked about your 1st request a few times and other people have suggested it too. Maybe someday. For now we write our own blogs in a text editor and then copy and paste. An autosave would be nice to have for sure though. After we finish all the stuff people don't have workarounds for.
Batching photos... yes we agree one photo at a time is a little painful. A better solution is just around the corner, we promise, and it will be done right. Soon after Humzoo Video gets launched probably. All of our eggs live in a basket labeled "video" right now. Its coming along really well and soon we're gonna have a sneak peek for everyone.
I really like your 3rd suggestion. I am curious how many people are using our RSS feeds though. We haven't looked at the stats in a while but that might shed some light on it. The community code is pretty complex, Dylan wrote most of that. But we could probably somehow shove it into a RSS feed one day. I'd hate for you to get behind at work or to get carpal tunnel from refreshing your browser. F5 dude!
Fourth suggestion is a given. Send cupcakes and we will send your photos to the top of the contest. We can be bribed. Enough said.
Fifth request... someday we're gonna redesign the whole front page. The site and it's content have changed a lot site we launched it back in March and we have some ideas on how to make the front page more useful. We'll add this to the list, clouds are neat and with all the blogs and photos (and soon videos) grouped under like tags it might be kind of cool to have a new way to look at the content and how its related.
Thanks for all of yours and Mrs. Shoo's suggestions and support. Let us know if you want to loan us a few million dollars too, cause we'd happy quit our jobs to work on Humzoo (and a bunch of other projects we have in mind) all day.
Your lucky you married someone that doesn't require as much beauty sleep as most men to look so damn good. Dang, I want an orange mote now. That would be so rad.
