1) My wife travels quite often for work. I know what you mean. I do crank through my Netflix queue, though. Not all bad. Well, except for some movies.

2) While I hate them too, I am pretty hardnosed about the fact that he does NOT travel on weekends. That is MY time, not work time. I'm sure you'll make it through.

3) Yes, I would have preferred a M-F trip, but IBM's check-in starts at noon today at the MGM Grand. Frankly, if we could have afforded it, the kids and I would have accompanied him on this trip, along with our sitter. Maybe next time, when the kids are a bit older, AND when IBM goes back to Florida.

The worst part for me is while Bill is in flight, and that is almost over for today--they're at 22,400 feet...

4) Every once in a while, when our schedules sync of course, I get to tag along for the trip. That's helped me accelerate my ballpark viewing.

5) Good luck with your single parent week; I am sure you will appreciate your husband even more when he returns (that is how it goes in my house anyway).
