Alien Beings Or Just Davis Offspring...
OK, so Gwendolyn has a strange habit, one that Galvin also had as a baby, but we thought he was just being a funny guy back then. Now, I think it is something inherited on their father's side because no one from my family would ever do this. Anyway, Gwen likes to hoard food, if that's the proper explanation for it. Here's what happens...
Periodically while feeding her, she will stick pieces of food either down near her thighs on the high-chair seat or behind her head, so that it falls down between her back and the chair. I usually sneak it back onto the tray to be eaten, but she'll do it over and over again throughout the meal, and as aforementioned, Galvin used to do it as well.
Anyone else have a baby that does/did this? Just curious...

1) Dylan likes to stick her food and eating utensils down near the bottom of her high chair, and then proclaim, "uh oh", like it was an accident. I think it is normal.
2) Mia always had more food shoved under her thighs than she had anywhere else. And when she got down to the last bite of something, she wouldn't eat it. She'd just carry it around with her in her fist until we managed to pry it out.
3) When you get old you resort back to this invantile trait. I use to have old folks who would stuf those papercups of ice cream under their wheel chair seats. I think its some kind of survival instinct:>
4) Well, I believe that all 3 of my kids did this too!!!! Kids always had to have food around them all the time.
