Aging...

You know, when I was a senior in high school, I thought my folks were old, ancient in fact. They were old-fashioned, outdated and knew nothing. Boy, was I wrong! Know why? Because I am now, officially, THAT AGE! In a few short weeks, I will be the same age my parents were when I turned 18 years old. YIKES!!

The only difference between me and them is...well, almost everything, but one thing is the same from their 43rd year of life: I just spent the weekend celebrating with old friends at my 25th high-school class reunion. And it was a blast!! It's so amazing how anyone who was called either a popularity queen or a jock or a druggie or a spaz or a nerd or whatever back then has become a real person today, and all of the "labels" we gave one another have simply faded away. Now, we are workers, students, daughters, sons, mothers, fathers, and yes, a few are GRANDPARENTS! And time goes on...

[I may have photos to post from this event at some point, but with my life, no promises. HA!]

1) Just wait-I've been going along saying "well, I'm really '40' in my mind" and then whoops my son is fast approaching that number-guess its time for an adjustment.
