I think "misspoke" has more of an "accidental" connotation to it, while "lied" is a purposeful misrepresentation.
If you're referring to Hillary's "misspoken" comments regarding her trip to Bosnia, then she didn't misspeak. She didn't embellish or exaggerate. She flat out lied, and it is an embarrassing disgrace.

Actually LIED backwards is DEIL, which I know for sure translates in German to Hillary.
