1) How funny! Kids say the funniest things.

2) Aw, that's cute.

3) At least she didn't say, "because of the pay!"

4) Where the hell are MY birthday treats, damnit?!?!

I didn't even know this was a perk!

5) That is an awesome part of the day....when a cute lil kid comes in with a tray of over-iced cupcakes wanting to give you one...They have that look like they are bringing you a piece of gold....and really, when you are pregnant in particular, it pretty much is.

6) Me neither, Scott. Maybe you've got to teach the little ones. They still like their teachers.

7) I think like some subjects like geography and history that were exciting and fun as kids but turned into dusty and fact-ridden subjects later on do a number on kids and their love of teachers. But, there are some special ones that may not get a cupcake (we consider the offering more carefully when older but can't imagine anyone not wanting one even a little lopsided and maybe dropped on the way to the desk as a child in all innocence). I probably never thought of cupcakes for teachers who made a difference or just because I liked them but I did say thanks to a few who hopefully saw that with sprinkles added and fewer calories. :)
