Hey, Springfield Residents!

I am in need of quick help. Hopefully, one of the Springfield people are online right now! I need an easy meeting point in Springfield right off of 55 for tomorrow morning. My son is spending the night with his Grandma in Peoria, so Springfield is the middle point between St. Louis and Peoria. Any good ideas of where an easy meeting place right off of 55 might be?

1) McDonald's near Sangamon and Dirksen? There's also a Walmart, Lowe's and a variety of other restaurants near that intersection, as well.
