1) I am reading Twilight right now after K8Day recommended it. Are the others in the series good too?

2) Oh niki - the whole series is awesome - we are anxiously waiting for August 2 to get here so that we can get the 4th one.

Now - The Host is a book she actually wrote for an adult audience but my teenager wants to read it and just from what I have read so far - I see no reason to tell her no. It is a very different book but it does suck you in.

3) I love the Twilight series (as I've said about eight million times). The second one drags a bit, but it's still excellent. I think The Host is the best book I've read this summer. I couldn't put it down.
Meg, Were the House of Night books good? I've heard of them and thought about reading them.

4) Mrs. Shoo, the House of Night books were phenomenal. Each of them caused me to forget that I needed to function the next day because I could not put them down.

I started the first one around 9 p.m. one night and finished it a little after midnight. The second one - I started the next morning and read at lunch and then at bedtime - finished it around 11 that night. Had to wait a week and go buy the third one - I read it Thursday night and now we wait for the fourth to be released this fall.

They are a very easy read but you get swept up in them.
