I Should Have Known Better
This morning when I woke up I realized that we did not have any milk in the house. I had been drinking Carnation instant breakfast for the last week, because I rant out of Strawberry and Cream Oatmeal that I had been having for the last three months. I told Joe I was leaving early so that I can get some breakfast, when I asked him where I should go Starbucks or McDonald's? He said McDonald's and after a short debate, I decided to go with his suggestion. I pulled up to one of those dual drive-through that merge to one line (seen here) http://www.humzoo.com/daveheinzel/photos/5/8/
and I put my put my order in as a Number 11 (bacon, egg and cheese bagel with a hashbrown) and a sweet tea, he told me "$4.88 at your first window". When I pulled up to the drive through, I realized it was the same McDonald's that Courtney Heinzel had blogged about previously

Suffice it to say I had a hard time keeping myself from laughing. When he opened the window he says "That will be $5.89, please" I looked questioningly at him and said "I thought you told me $4.88?" He replied, "Oh yeah, sorry. You have a 20 right? How much change would that make?" I told him $15.12, so obliged and I went on to the next window. When I arrived there everything had stopped!! It was mass chaos that they had the wrong order. I told them what I was supposed to have and they handed it over, crisis averted. When I arrived at work, I took a sip of my drink and low and behold, it was a soda, Pepsi. Those that know me, know I dislike dark syrup sodas with a passion. So, I gave it to a coworker. I could not leave my desk once I was at work, so one of the gals I work with said she would run back and get my sweet tea. I am not sure what she said, but they gave her a sweet tea for free, in an effort to make it right. Thanks McDonald's for making breakfast an event, not just a meal!
P.S. I will be grocery shopping this weekend.

1) While you're out, we need more liquid starch and white glue. Don't ask.
2) Sounds like crystal meth ingredients to me
3) No way dude, no more silly putty!
4) So, did the small-ish man take your money, then?
5) He did and he tried to rip me off!
6) Well, now we know he can't be trusted!
7) This is a truly dark day in the world of big man-little man relations. I had put my trust in the little man. The little man could do no wrong. Well, times they are a changing. My my my.
8) Did your bacon egg and cheese have green goo? http://www.humzoo.com/ben/blog/11/
9) No way Ben, but it did have an enormous amount of butter which I thought was a holandaise sauce at first. But I have definately decided I am not have McDonold's breakfast ever again.
