Ghost Hunt!!

I know there are some people out there just dying to know what happened last night. A real quick note before we get on the road; we did survive! I have not gone through any of the photos or the video to see if we captured anything yet. When we get back to Springfield, I will go through what we got and post some pictures! We will be leaving Kentucky in about an hour. Thanks Kentucky for a great time!

UPDATE:

Here are some of the pictures we took during our night at the Waverly Hills Sanitorium. We pulled up to the building first thing and I started taking pictures. As you can imagine, almost every picture I took has some sort of "orbs", so I do not count that as a sighting.

We first went into the "Body Chute" where they used to send the bodies down a 485 foot tunnel because people were dying so quickly.

A tour guide then took us in the building and showed us some of the "hot spots".

We went to the 5th floor, this is a picture through the window of the children's ward.

I had to get a shot of the famous "Room 502".

Joe took this picture of the hallway. Down the hallway you can see a blue playground ball. People use this ball to coax a spirit of a young boy named "Timmy" to play.

After the tour with the main group we were allowed to break off into our own smaller groups to perform individual investigations. I got a little freaked out and went back to the Welcome room for a bit. I rejoined the group a little later and we were bombarded by a couple of bats! If being in a haunted old hospital wasn't enough, bats were flying around. At that point I had about enough and our small group decided to head out a little early. We arrived around 9:30 p.m. and left about 1:30 a.m. All in all, it was a great experience. A little scary, but I am glad I did it.

4) Almost all pictures people take during investigations have "orbs" and although it is a common indicator of paranormal activity, I am not sure if it means anything, or if they are just dust particles in the air.

5) Joe did have trouble with his brand new walkie-talkie, it acted very strange. I also had trouble with my camera. I would go to take a picture and it would just shut down. I took a couple of pictures with the flash on and they are completely black.

10) I was just going to put up that link. That should answer most questions. It was a very creepy place to be in. The worst thing to endure though was the bats. I could not take them flying around my head.

11) Reading all about it has made me want to go now tho - I think in some ways it would be cool but in other ways frightening since I truly believe in ghosts already
