1) No harm? It damaged the house. It could have potentially gone in a window and damaged something (or someone!) much worse. You are a great neighbor but maybe someone should work with the child and the mother about the dangers of weapons in close quarters to others.
2) The kid is actually really nice and doesn't mean any harm. He was so freaked out when he did it, he was crying. He is 12 years old too. His mom had a talk with him and he realized what he did and why it was wrong.
