Silly Putty on Car SeatsElizabeth couldn't find the lid to her bright pink "Big Putty" which she was playing with in the van. So she just left this giant blob of flourscent pink silly putty on the seat in the van and forgot about it. A week later when we returned from vacation we discovered it had baked nicely into the fabric on the seat.
We tried to remove it but we weren't having any luck. So then we had Elizabeth seek a trusted source of information to find a solution: the Internet! She discovered the best way to remove silly putty from fabric is to use Bath and Body Works hand sanitizer. We stuck our hands in tube socks and squirted the liquid on the seat and began rubbing. It magically dissolved. There isn't any trace of the putty. What a nifty home remedy.
