Last night Dad decided he was done with the breathing tube and jerked it out. Maybe he knew what he was doing because he is doing great this morning breathing on his own and has been conversating with Mom and Traci (my sister). His pain seems to be managed and with good luck, he will be in his own room in the morning and out of ICU (and those crazy visiting hours)! He still has a lot of obstacles to overcome, but it sure is great to know that each day we have seen progress! Thanks again to everyone for the prayers and well wishes!

MORE UPDATE

They moved Dad to his own room around 5 this evening (6/30/08). He was talking to everyone and was doing MUCH better! So good, that docs think he may be able to come home Friday! Woot Woot! I know that our friends and family have been praying for him and us, I can't say enough thank you's to everyone!! He still isn't up dancing a jig just yet....he said he would save that for tomorrow! hahaha
