Credit where credit is due...
I have been ordering a few things for the house from online or purchased locally. I talked previously about getting a lamp assembly made in China that came with missing parts. The company was quick to respond to my email about the missing parts (complete with photos) and quickly shipped the missing parts to me. The lamp assembly was put together on Saturday and I'm happy to say we had all of the parts--plus some extras.http://www.humzoo.com/lgrant/photos/73/22/
Recently I bought a tension pole shower caddy from Tuesday Morning. When I pulled everything out, I had a missing part. I went to the instructions, found the company name (Better Bath) and looked it up on the web and contacted it. I got a reply within a day from Tami. She said they would gladly mail the part to me. I sent my mailing address and sure enough, I got the missing part in the mail as promised.
I have to say I'm impressed with customer service with these two companies. They were prompt to contact me, quickly worked to resolve the problem and get the missing parts to me. I thought I had recycled the box that had the instructions and wrote to Tami once more apologizing for my lack of foresight and asked if any instructions were available. She was unable to send me instructions for the exact model I purchased but quickly mailed me some instructions that were similar enough to use. I did find the box (didn't recycle like I thought) and used it but again the company impressed me with a quick response re: parts or instructions.
I installed the caddy tonight. Not only did I have all the parts but the pole went together quickly with the instructions and was even versatile enough to be modified for the spot I wanted for it.
Thank you, Better Bath, for a good product and great customer service. Thank you, Tuesday Morning for a good buy and working with good companies who support your customers well. Thank you. Overstock, too. I'm a happy customer.
Oh, and we have a shower caddy that is nearly identical!
