There was a time when the battleship Oregon ranked among the most famous ships of the U.S. Navy. The Oregon's nearly sixty-five-year career encompassed an epic sea voyage, action in a pivotal battle of the Spanish American War, and service as a war memorial and museum on the Portland, Oregon, waterfront. From the ship's launching to its unfortunate demise, generations of Oregonians took the Oregon into their hearts as a point of pride. - Ken Lomax

Did a ship sink on dry land or is there a mini-ocean in there somewhere?

LOL - the ship is hidden in the time capsule to be opened in 2076 (I probably won't be around for that--let me know what the ship looks like!) It was turned into one of those skinny sponge things that expands in water. They'll toss it in the River and then attach the mast later!
