1) I am sad that it is getting dark so early in the evening already. Boo hoo...bye bye summer.

3) Fall is an exciting time of the year, even if they days are shorter. More colors are on plants and trees, animals and birds getting ready for winter, and the brisk, clear mornings with the air so clean - can't be beat!!

4) Amen, Steve! I think summer makes autumn even sweeter since most folks enjoy getting out of the sticky humid part of the year and the fall feels so fresh and sleep is so much nicer too--not to mention dessert flavors. Deep things like apples and caramel and chocolate and such.

5) Linda, only you would see autumn in terms of chocolate and caramel!
