I'm cleaning off an old PC to discard it. I knew there were a lot of photos on it that needed to be saved (thank goodness for flash drives!). I found the photos I took of Mt. Hood from the plane. I was lucky my first trip to Portland in the fall of 2002 was a clear and sunny day to see the mountain so well--it isn't always so visible that time of year. As you can see it is low on snow--the summer meltdown hasn't been replaced by the snows of fall/winter.
