Back in November of 2002, I made my pilgrimage to Astoria, OR. Prior to moving to Oregon a friend and I took a quiz to find our best place to live (http://www.findyourspot.com). My top two spots were in Oregon. One was Astoria--I forget the other. Paula's came up the same. So, I skulked out the place for a potential move at some future date.
