Final presentation of Turtle Cheesecake - Chocolate graham cookie crumb crust - thick layer of caramel - layer of chocolate fudge - roasted pecans - cheesecake - topped with homemade caramel sauce, chocolate sauce and more toasted chopped pecans. Hopefully it will fulfill all of my co-worker's dreams.
**Note to self for next one. Put on a plate to grab all the slosh or take squeeze bottles to work and apply there. Though no one complained about having to spoon the goo back on the cake. :)
I wish I worked at the library that you take treats to, this looks SO GOOD!

This one is actually for work. The lemon bars are for the library. I tend to make something non-perishable for the library folks so they don't have to deal with keeping it cool. Glad you like it! :)

Wow! I hope your co-workers realize how lucky they are!!

You have outdone yourself this time, Linda! I'm sure they will enjoy it! I hope you remembered to take out all the calories!! LOL

All calories removed, Nancy! :) I did slosh the sauces a bit on the trip in. Hard to keep liquid sauce on top of a cheesecake for a bus-ride and 6 blk. walk but they can spoon it back on. :) Next time I need to remember to use a plate. I couldn't find one small enough for my container so I used a cake board and some of the good stuff is on the sides. :)

I just ran a poll and everyone asked (me mostly) believe that such a cheesecake is actually good for you! win win.

It lasted about 3 hours at work. It was considered a great success. Merrick will attest it is one of the 20 in her top 5. I offered to make her one next week but the bum is going on vacation! It's very rich but mostly people would come by my desk with a bowl in hand, spoon in mouth, moan, roll their eyes and continue on. A good sign. :)

Ok I just put you down to bring this cheesecake to the Ultimate Humzoo Potluck when we all get together and finally meet. Don't forget. :)

No problem. I'm sure you will remind me when the time comes!

I'll even bring extra chocolate sauce and caramel sauce in case you need more on your cheesecake--can't have too much sauce, right?

I have never been a fan of flavored cheesecakes...this looks amazing! I'm drooling.
Richie & AshleySunday, June 14, 2009
The cheesecake really isn't flavored as much as layered. You can mix or leave intact. LOL I think Richie might even enjoy this one with all the pieces and parts. :)
