Meyer lemon bundt cake - As noted on my blurb, meyer lemons are a cross of lemons and mandarin oranges. The aroma isn't quite orange or quite lemon but an odd cross of the two--but the flavor makes up for the slight twang to the smell of the zested lemon. One of the best cake batters I have ever sampled. The glaze is a mixture of fresh meyer lemon juice and confectioners' sugar. Hope it tastes fresh and good for my co-workers tomorrow.

It's pretty new, Moore. I think I changed it last weekend. Thanks! I like it too! I had heard about them and read about them before moving to Oregon but I don't remember ever finding them in the store. Our Trader Joe's keeps a good supply this time of year. They are nearly orange in color and very soft skinned--unlike a lemon (at least all the ones I ever buy). I will take a photo of one beside a lemon tonight for you to see the difference. The juice is tart but not as tart as a lemon. I love to find new recipes for using them.
