I was a GS for 12 years---Daisy through to Senior. I know these cookies as Caramel Delights. I reject the "new" names and formulas. Bring back the old cookies and their names!
I like yours Linda. I would love the recipe to try them out myself. Bet they taste way better than the GS cookies. LG cookies rate #1 in my book!!

I was a Brownie. I think I got tossed out for attitude. :) I did sell a lot of GS cookies--mostly through my mom at work since we had no neighborhood to canvas to sell cookies. I don't think Caramel Delights even existed back then. We'll see what Merrick thinks about the cookie. She's my litmus test on all baking--other than fruit/chocolate desserts which she won't eat.
Thanks for the kudos, Ashley. :) I'll try to keep my baking blogs and photos to a minimum. Only new or interesting stuff. I know folks are working to eat healthier. :)

Yum, Yum! I was a Brownie too, but quit because I couldn't handle the camping. Yes, I brought a McDonald's Happy Meal to the camp out!

Linda, don't censor (that word looks wrong) yourself! Healthy is several things: #1 it is relative, B) everything in moderation, iii) must allow yourself a "treat" to maintain a healthy dieting pattern.
I just realized I nearly goofed and forgot to dip the bottom of the cookie in chocolate as well. Messily and quickly I accomplished that goal.
