Not the best shot, I know. If Steve had taken it you would be able to see the droplets on the feathers. I tried to get as close as I could before the little bird flew off. I don't think I scared her--she was bathing away when I was out filling the bowl of peanuts for the jays. But, proof that one hummingbird (maybe Mimosa) bathes in the waterfall. Probably was a cool bath--it was around 8 AM and the temperature was still probably in the 40s.

Wouldn't it be neat to have a camera concealed in the rocks and operable with a remote?!?!

There is a bird cam that is motion triggered. Nice tune of $159. :)

I'm thinking I need to find a support group - Birdfeeders Anonymous. I think I'm obsessed with the idea now. More feeders coming. :) But, I am enjoying it. Little Mimosa was talking up a storm today and I could hear her with the windows open. When Debbie came to do the lawn I went around and closed all the windows. I think Mimosa was at the window feeder and I startled her with the window moving. Sure wish I had that cam for videos and pictures. I'd set it up right by the waterfall and see what transpired.
