After losing a whole album in some weird way, I'm going to start a new Baking one to avoid losing all the previous ones. :) My hairstylist got her St. Paddy's Day treat--Chocolate Guinness Cake. A moist chocolate cake made with butter and sour cream and a cup of Guinness. In my case, a good local stout--too cheap to buy a 4-pack of Guinness for one cake. Turned out great but it did sink a bit in the center. Note to self: Make sure it is well done next time to avoid having a crater in the middle. Though it did hold more cream cheese frosting!!

Your "Bake It So Album" is still alive and well!! It is under Photos - for 2008, March 18. You can still have it come up at the top of your photo list by clicking on "Edit Album" and then click the box that says "Pin this album to the top of my Archive."

I think 4 cups of Guinness or more would prevent the cake from sinking in the middle!! I am not speaking from experience, just sounds like something to try!!

Oh, I know where it is--just not adding any more to it! I did that to an older album a few weeks back and somehow deleted the entire album! I still have no idea how I managed it but after I found there is no backup if that is accidentally done--I decided I wouldn't add to another big album like that. Learned my lesson. If you start new ones you can't delete old ones. :)

As you know I have been pretty religious about posting daily photos. I make a new album each month so I don't accumulate a whole bunch of pictures in one album. That way if I do something where I accidentally delete an album I am only out about 30 or so pics compared to a few hundred.
By the way - I shingled the roof on the bay window today but am holding off on a photo till I do a little painting on the window. Unfortunately, I now have that whole side of the house to paint. Last Fall I painted to near where the bat window is and stopped, waiting till the window was installed before finishing the house. Now that the flowers are starting to grow in Nancy's garden (which is where the bay window is) I might have to wait until later this Fall to finish painting. Darn!!!

Does that mean we have to wait until Fall to see the shingles?
