Depending on the weather I either get this one to the office for my treat crowd--or I find someone closer (maybe a neighbor) interested in Brown Sugar Bundt Cake w/Maple Espresso Glaze. A beautiful warm brown sugar cake studded with chocolate chips and glazed with a cream, maple syrup, espresso glaze. Surprisingly the maple and espresso do not argue with each other but compliment each other nicely in the glaze. We'll see who gets cake tomorrow!

That looks delicious. I sent you a package and the tracking said it was delivered today. Did you receive it?

Small enough for a mailbox? I got one box at the door but nothing else and that was one I ordered. I haven't checked the mail since it has been pouring rain. I'll go look out at the door and the mailbox. :)

It is small enough for a mailbox. I hope the package is sealed well!

Looks like it might be staying home with me. It's nasty here with lots of black ice. My boss gave me license to work from home if it was nasty so at least for now, I'm taking him up on it. It took me 6 mos. to get a used taillight last snowstorm and that was AFTER the roads were safe. The buses are running but with chains and that makes them stay at 25 MPH and I have to get to the bus and walk on icy sidewalks. Uh, I think the cake stays home. :) Maybe it will go into the freezer for next week. :) Or just set it outside to keep frozen today. :)

Another winner. I did make it to the office with the cake and left it to go to lunch with some co-workers. When I got back it was half-gone. I got as many "thanks it was delicious" as "WHINE--I'm at home due to the weather!" emails about it. I'll definitely put this one in my keeper group.

Glad you made it. We're supposed to have your ice and freezing rain in the morning. Ugh.

Made another one for my hair-stylist tonight. I had to rush the glaze a bit so it was thinner and had less time to "set". Hopefully it won't be smeared since I had to wrap it for delivery. She was excited--said she only had a Costco pie she bought and now she has a homemade cake. I'm starting to wonder if my appointments are getting scheduled close to holidays for a reason..... :)

Seriously she is a sweet lady and I enjoy baking for her and her family. Her mom used to be a cake decorator so I don't try any fancy presentation but make sure it is a good flavor. :) I invited her and her mom to Bake Day tonight--hope they can come. I'd like to see a diverse group come and enjoy the day with the kids and decorating cookies and sharing the holiday. Should be fun!
