Wednesday, March 18th, 2009Update on Jack The following is a series of Jack.
I have found a video on youtube that Jack LOVES. It is the mean kitty video about a cat named Sparta. He will sit still and veg out watching it. I only use it now when he gets fussy and needs a distraction. I really don't want Jack to become a vidiot.
Jack loves to take a bath and play in the tub. Thanks to Merrit for the recommendation of the rubber duckie bath tub. We all really like it.
I am not sure if Jack like to wear hats but we think he is cute in one
Here is Jack napping with Grampy (my dad). Aren't they cute?
Here is jack napping with Daddy. Notice his bottom lip poked out. I had a bad underbite before I had braces. I think it is cute now but I hope he doesn't have an undebite like I had.
My cousin John is a Marine and will be deployed to the Middle East very soon. We celebrated his birthday last month. I am sorry I don't have a good pic of him but here is Jack with his second cousin Mark. They are both lady killers!
My husband (Matt) LOVES chocolate. For Valentine's Day I got him a three pound solid chocolate hart. This is him taking his first bite. It is almost devoured now. I on the otherhand got a very large box (five pounds) of sweet tarts. My fav candy.
Fast forward to today. Jack is over 18 pounds sitting up pretty well on his own and starting to become mobile. He has realized he can roll around to get places and gets frustrated when he just can't get exactly where he wants to go. He is also quite fussy lately because he is getting over a cold and an ear infection. So he is either really fun and happy or really mad and grumpy. Just today he has discovered how to get up on all fours and is bouncing back and forth getting ready to crawl. So I guess we had better get ready for that. Here are some picks from this morning. Enjoy.
Love,
Aunt Susan
I have no trouble believing you two are very proud parents. Jack is absolutely precious. He looks like such a happy baby. Enjoy his first year as it seems to pass in the blink of an eye. My "baby" is a freshman in college and it's so hard to remember her at Jack's age. So don't rush him. Enjoy every moment as it comes and take lots of pictures and/or videos. You'll appreciate it one of these days (years from now).
