A Mini and Big Milestone this Week!
That's right! Tripp is on top of things. Earlier this week, I put him in his swing (unswaddled ) for his nap (we are going to work on getting him in the crib for naps very soon). When he woke 40 minutes later (he likes the short naps these days), I showed him how to play with the toy on his swing. The next day, he woke up and when I came into the room he was quietly playing with the toy. So cute!

We have really been working on the tummy time and now Tripp doesn't need the boppy anymore to help him hold his head up. He was doing such a great job this morning.

Tonight after his bottle, I took him into our room so that he could show Roger what a great job he was doing. I put him down on his stomach and he rolled over instantly. Roger and I looked at each other shocked and both thought that I put him down unbalanced. So, I put him back on his stomach and he did it again. That's right... we have a roller!
The rest of our week pales in comparison. He sits up in his Bumbo seat and loves to look at the fire (which is on all the time since it is chilly up here). He's still laughing and smiling up a storm, which really brightens our day!
