Students coming in and saying, "Are we doing anything today??" My response, "Has there ever been a day where we haven't done something?!"

I'm a crotchety, old English teacher. I love to read and do crossword puzzles. I'm a big fan of Saved by the Bell, and I'm an even bigger fan of The Office. I wear Lisa Loeb glasses occasionally, but I think she's cute; so, I'm okay with that. My dogs are my babies, and I don't want any babies of the human variety. I also love to cook and bake; although, during the school year, I don't get to do it enough.
