When do you...Humzoo?
I'm usually a morning Humzoo-er. I Humzoo during my SbtB time while I'm eating breakfast (which explains why many of my entries are cut short--gotta continue with that morning routine I was talking about). I like to blog in the morning just to get my brain working and to get my head clear...especially if I have weird dreams, which happens frequently.
This morning I started to Humzoo during breakfast, but I got really into SbtB. It was a Malibu Sands Resort episode...the fourth of July luau with the Miss Liberty pageant. Zach votes for Kelly, and Stacey and Leon are both mad at him because he clearly should have voted for his love interest/the boss's daughter.
I really enjoyed my breakfast this morning. As I've said before, I'm a creature of habit. I've been really bothered the past week because we were out of Nutrigrain waffles. I love to over-toast one so it's over-toasty, then I slather it in peanut butter. The final step is the addition of some fatty slabs of bananas.

This morning I coupled it with a cup of coffee.

Last night I made this chicken casserole type thing. It's called Phyllo chicken. It was kind of like a quiche with chicken, bacon and broccoli. Mr. Shoo and I liked it...although next time I'm going to make it with croissant dough instead of Phyllo.

It looked a lot prettier in the dish...but tasted pretty good.

I blog in between Humzoo features. Which is why I haven't written a blog in a while. I used to blog a lot more before we started Humzoo. I do miss blogging and I am sure the world misses my stories ever more but I am having a blast creating new stuff for Humzooers too! Enjoyed the blog Mrs. Shoo, and the casserole looks mighty tasty!
Mrs. Shoo,
Puff Pastry works well too. Or just a bought pie crust is fine. Even though I don't eat chicken, I can appreciate that it looks good and I bet tasted wonderful. From Denny's comments I guess we can expect him to be "cooking something up" soon with Humzoo. I love the bananas and PB and waffles idea. I love bananas & PB.
I just noticed that the "humzoo" link in the top headers on people's site's no longer has a box around it. Maybe that's what he's been working on...
Not sure what you mean on that. I think they are working to make you smell cake and taste it for real (but with no worry of weight gain!) when you click on the word HUMZOO.
OMG!! Your waffle was overtaken by bananas! What a shame. That's where the syrup is supposed to go.
I don't Humzoo nearly as much as I'd like to. Like Denny said, we're spending most of our time on making new stuff for Humzoo. We have big plans for the future, and it takes a lot of self-control to turn away from Humzoo long enough to work on code.
That said, I usually Humzoo everytime I'm near a computer or iPhone with a minute to spare. I HAVE to see what's new on the home page, and I usually make my way to the community. But watch out if I start clicking around - you can get lost and lose several hours in no time.
Dave, if you and Denny aren't careful, people are going to think you are taking this business serious!
I Humzoo a little throughout the day but don't spend a long time in one go. Often just a comment or two here and there. I'll usually post pictures or blog (yes, singular) in the evening though as that is more labour intensive and time consuming.
I'm the lucky one. I'm retired so I get to Humzoo several times during the day to see what's up.
Me too-I usually start my day watching GMA and checking Humzoo and my email. Then again in the evening before I start reading or like noiw - I have been up since 4am and rather than run the vacum and clean-and wake up the household I decided to check on the latrst:>
Dannie, you are so selfless! Reading Humzoo and mail instead of vacuuming and disturbing folks. You must be another morning person. I'm usually up around that time. I catch the bus around 5:45 so I like some time to get up, exercise a bit, eat and get ready without a rush. I'm all set except for eating and shower and dressing this AM. A good day! My Humzoo schedule is pretty much the same as yours--with the exception that I might check in at work if I get a pocket of minutes to check things out (or occasionally get there early and upload pictures or write a blog).
I generally visit throughout the day, but I mainly post blogs and write comments after breakfast and when I return from work.
Sad to say I have been neglecting Humzoo lately. I have 3 photo albums to post but have had a hard time finding the time to do it. In between working, working out, Dylan time after work and traveling on the weekends, I just don't have the energy at night. Hopefully I will have some short bursts of energy this weekend to post some stuff!
I am usually checking out blogs long after you Springfield folks are asleep since I'm on Eastern Standard Time and a night owl to boot.
What is SbtB????
Save By The Bell - ask Biker Ben about it.
Fiestaware! I have the same plates, Mrs. Shoo! :-D
I have a feeling my Humzoo habits are about to change. At school, I was always up late doing homework, so I'd Humzoo instead of doing homework. Now, I have all this time during the day to Humzoo, but I find I haven't been leaving as many comments...just kind of looking around. That's going to have to change....I have a ton of stuff to put up after graduation and what not.
My sleeping habits completely changed after I graduated, Casey. I was never a night owl until I went to college, then somehow I managed to stay up till 2 o'clock or so every morning. I'd go to my classes then nap the afternoon away. Now I'm an up at five, in bed by nine kind of girl.
I am up at 5 am, but unfortunately most nights do not go to bed until 11 or so. That is my time to get stuff done after the kid is in bed.
