Calm between storms...
I figured I'd take my time out of the basement to say hello to Humzoo. We've been bunkered down watching Biker Ben on Channel 20.
I went out to lunch with one of my teacher friends, then we went to see the Sex and the City movie. It was decent...just a longer version of the television show. I went shopping after to grab a few things. It's a good thing I didn't make it a long shopping trip, as no more than five minutes after I got home, the sirens started going off.
I hate tornadoes. They've always freaked me out. When I was a little kid, I'd hide in the closet (because we didn't have a basement) as soon as it would start storming.
I never grew out of it. It's a good thing Mr. Shoo has a calm head on his shoulders because I started panicking as soon as the sirens went off. I yelled at the dogs and started running downstairs. He had the sense to turn off the stove and grab our dinner so that we could eat while we tuned into Gus Gordon and his weatherly knowledge. I had a couple spaz attacks over what would happen to my shoe collection if a tornado took our house away. Mr. Shoo assures me the insurance company will give us money to replace it. But just in case, I went up and took pictures of as much of my shoe collection as I could photograph as well as the rest of the clothes in my room. I would post them, but my room is a disaster. My mother would be embarrassed if I let other people see them.
p.s. Make sure you email me if you want to do the book exchange mrs.shoo at gmail.com .

Update us when you can
Dannie, I wear a 5 1/2 or 6. I have very small feet...but they're proportionate to my height. I would also be up for a shoe exchange!! I love new shoes.
