This just burns my bubble... The Illinois Times for some reason has a thing against bloggers in Springfield. A few months ago, the person who writes the Cap City section decided to write a somewhat sarcastically scathing blurb about the blogging community in Springfield. I've tried to find the article, but I can't. Basically, they said that the bloggers in Springfield who live in their parents' basements, play on the computer in their underwear and do nothing else.
My husband is very active in the blogging community of Springfield. He, in fact, spent a lot of time neglecting me and creating Springfield Bloggers; he's kept blogs for a decade now; and he's made some very good friends through the blogging scene. Plus, he just enjoys it.
When the first article came out, Chris laughed. I, on the other hand, wrote a nasty letter to the editor expressing my disgust at the ignorance that was published. I was spitting mad.
Well. They did it again. (Scroll down to the bottom.) Whoever writes this column has decided to pick on the blogging community for the plan to meet at the Sliders game.

This time Chris took offense. He decided that if Springfield blogging is good enough for both Channel 20 and the SJR, then maybe the Illinois Times should just lay off!! For a rather offensive, but quite funny response to the IT writer, click on the link. (No Rickroll, promise.)
