Weekend Update
We went over and hung out on Friday night at Kitch and Grant's house where we had a delicious dinner that they fixed for us (babyback ribs). Dylan went to sleep in her pack-n-play while we hung out a bit. She really enjoyed hanging out with Annie, Bella, Beck and Emmet.

The gas prices right now are crazy, I even caught this lawnmower on Friday night filling up in the line at the station before they ran out of gas.

How about the Carolina Panthers? Coming back at the end of the game to beat the Chicago Bears! Actually I should not give them that much credit as seeing the offense played pretty bad yesterday, until they came back to win it at the end of the game. I am still tired from the game and have some killer sunburn. 90 degree weather just does not feel like football. Hottest game I can remember going to. Hopefully, the Panthers will do better the next home game and actually lead most of the time. Makes it so much more fun for the ticketholders!
We got Dylan a cool new play kitchen this weekend, and she has cooked some fabulous meals. We have taken the ping pong table out of the dining room and are in the process of converting it into a playroom. When we got home from the game yesterday, she and Nana had turned the new playroom into a diner, and she was serving up some delicious cloth hotdogs.
Denny is out of town this week on business and was out of town last week and will be out of town the following week. I know it has been hard on him because he really misses Dylan. Hard on me too, because I am playing full time parent and holding down the full-time job too. I guess that is life, and we need to pay the bills. He gets back late Wednesday night and Thursday we head to D.C. to visit my brother Troy, and his girlfriend Hayley, and then head to Baltimore to see our friends Angie and Rob. Denny's parents are headed to the beach and taking Dylan with them. We come back on Monday, and then Denny heads back out of town Tuesday morning.
He said Dylan melted his heart this morning when she would not let go of him at daycare. I think she is also not used to getting up as early as she has been because of the new routine. Hopefully, she will adjust.
Kitch and Grant have been helping me out on Wednesday nights watching Dylan while Denny is out of town so I can attend my sewing class. Last week we learned all of the parts of the sewing machine and how to thread the bobbin and machine. I took sewing in Home Economics in middle school, but have never really learned how to sew. Our class is six weeks, every Wednesday night from 6-9pm, and our project will be pajama bottoms. I am glad I am taking the class, but I forgot what long classes were like especially after working all day and having your husband out of town. Hopefully I will be able to hem some jeans by the time this class is over. :)
Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Did anyone catch Tina Fey playing Sarah Palin on SNL? That was hilarious.

PS. Relying on your calendar more and more has a lot to do with age; trust me, I know this.
I watched on Saturday night and literally peed my pants! It was great and she totally nailed it, down to the accent when she said "small town". Did you catch when she said she was running fpr president? LOL!
Let's face it, you guys didn't really have any friends here. ZING!
Totally kidding, I am your friend.
