deuce deaton- ultrasound We had our ultrasound today. I am currently 18 1/2 weeks and measured 18 weeks and 5 days at this ultrasound, so we are right on track. The baby's heartbeat sounded great and was 146 today. Everything looks great with the baby from the head and spine to the arms and legs. They could not get as good a look at the heart as they wanted to so we need to do another ultrasound next month, and they will also get a better profile picture. The baby would not stop moving. The ultrasound tech kept saying that I was going to have a very active baby in utero.

We took Dylan into the ultrasound and she really did not have that much to say. I think she was a little overwhelmed by the whole thing and seeing me laying on the table doing the ultrasound. She did get her very own picture of the baby, a sticker and got to see the doctor that delivered her. It was a big day for her. She promptly asked me if the baby had come out yet after we left the ultrasound.
