Dylan was given homework her first week of preschool. She was supposed to decorate a cutout to be about her and what she likes. Parents were supposed to supervise and provide materials, but the kids were to do it on their own (even if they only drew on a couple of squiggles). Dylan masterminded her own work. She did the cutting and gluing by herself. She was very proud of the "pocket" she added to the "shirt." From what I can tell, she likes tutus, bunnies, dog slippers and midriff tops.

Good job, Dylan! Very creative. I just saw a book that sounds like you will be making big marks in later years!!

A WHOLE NEW MIND: WHY RIGHT-BRAINERS WILL RULE THE FUTURE, by Daniel H. Pink (Penguin, 2006)

Pretty advanced for someone her age. You have done a great job letting her inner artist develop!!!!

She does like tutus and obviously has a flare for fashion! Takes after mom and dad with her artsy side!
