Mild mannered Ryno?
It seems that Cub legend and baseball Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg is serving his 7th suspension and the third this season alone for his role in a bench clearing brawl against the team from Clinton Iowa last week. Apparently he was suspended earlier this season for bumping an umpire. Is it me or does Ryno not seem the type to be fighting and getting suspended?

1) I agree. Ryno's my baseball hero. Wasn't he only ejected like three times during his entire playing career?

stheinz Tuesday, May 13, 20083) He's compensating for his laid back style he had as a player. The knock on him during his playing days was that he was to quiet and didn't always go all out after the tough plays. I disagree. He's one of the best second basemen of all time (Don't tell Joe Morgan that).
