Movie of the week
Yesterday I rented The Cleaner starring Samuel L. Jackson, Ed Harris and the stunning Eva Mendes. It's the story of a guy (Jackson) who's job it is to clean up the bloody mess after someone dies. He winds up doing a cleaning job and finds himself entangled in a possible murder mystery. Overall I thought it was good. It had a decent story and good acting. I give it a B-. LimeyGeorge Thursday, June 19, 20087) Actually I do have a new movie. I'm on vacation on Martha's Vineyard and on the LONG car ride I watched a film called The Station Agent. The movie is about a "little person" (I don't know if that's politically correct) who's friend dies and leaves him an old train station. The rest of the movie is him and his interaction with some friends he meets and the realization that the world can be a cruel place for those that are different. There's no killing, sex or car chases, just a really good and well acted movie.
