Now that Brett Favre has cried, he is not allowed to make a comeback.

1) Only if Dick Vermeil gets back into coaching. His wife picked up his dry cleaning yesterday. He's still inconsolable.

2) At work we were giving the owner grief about Favre. He grew up in Wisconsin and is a huge Packers fan. Someone asked if cried when he heard Favre retired. He said, "No, Brett cried enough during that press conference for everybody."
3) Do you think Roger Clemens would garner more sympathy if he cried? It couldn't hurt. I love the fact that it looks like his wife could kick his ass.
4) Hey, at least he was an honest man up there... nothing fake about him. Our paper (along with every other media outlet) has been qoting him all week. My favorite is: "Tiki Barbar asked what I was going to wer; I could have worn a suit, but I didn't. I could have shaved, but I didn't. This is me. What you see is what yo get." Damn skippy!
Our entire state (WI) has been in mourning all week. Yes, I did cry but I'll blame that on my pregnancy horrmones... :)
6) Being in Bears country, there's a certain satisfaction in watching Favre cry, that's all. He also said that he "never took a play off and to me it came natural to me." Oh Brett. Did you forget the game in 2002 against the Giants in which you "fell" to the ground allowing Michael Strahan to break the all-time sack record? I guess you forgot.
